This course will provide students with a basic understanding of key ASL concepts and provide a basis for future study. Curriculum includes the following topics: Deaf / Hard of Hearing culture, Understand the ASL alphabet / Fingerspelling, Number signs / Colors / Animals / Time / Food and Drink, Key Verbs and Nouns, Feelings and Emotions, ASL sentence structure, Other content as provided by instructor
