Pioneer Community Band

Summer Band provides an opportunity for students and adults to continue playing flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone/euphonium, tuba, and percussion in an ensemble setting outside of the school year. Participants will develop instrument-specific techniques and musicality while performing familiar music and will learn key elements of ensemble performance. Difficulty of the musical selections will be edited to challenge each participant appropriately at their current skill level. Students participants also have the option of signing up for private lessons for individualized instruction with the band director and/or specialized teachers, for additional tuition.
