Radio Broadcasting / DJ

Grades 6-12
Students will learn the concepts of broadcasting in a hands on environment; including the components that are needed to do a mobile dj event, as well as, a live and pre-recorded radio broadcast. Students will learn a variety of skills including; writing, researching, recording, mixing & editing audio files, all while gaining a sense of accomplishment and confidence. Students will learn to write a thirty second and one minute report on a variety of school activities and then also be able to broadcast them, as well as, create a podcast for future replays. The greatest take-away for students is they will learn better communication and team building skills.
