Summer Pops String Orchestra

PREREQUISITE: One year of string instrument experience and basic music-reading ability.
Summer Pops String Orchestra provides an opportunity for students to continue playing violin, viola, cello, and string bass in an ensemble setting outside of the school year. Students will develop string techniques and musicality while performing familiar music and will learn key elements of ensemble performance. Difficulty of the musical selections will be edited to challenge each student appropriately at their current skill level. Students have the option of signing up for private lessons for individualized instruction with the orchestra director, for additional tuition.
